• Shop/in the field Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and gas/diesel systems on a variety of Trucks, Cars, Motorcycles, Trailers, Equipment, Rv and tools
• Engine Diagnostics and Repair
• Fabrication and welding as needed. Wire, arc, stick, plasma, gas torches and saws
• Perform routine and annual maintenance as well staying on top of preventative maintenance
• Communicate with customers; keep customers informed on status of work
• Follow manufacturer and company service guidelines and procedures to ensure quality work and to preserve and document component failure information for accurate failure analysis
• Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies, and rules
• Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions. Repair, replace or rebuild engines, transmissions, fuel systems, final drives, steering clutches, cross-shafts, hydraulic components including pumps, motors, valves, and all related components, electrical and air systems.
• Diagnose the condition of customer and dealer-owned machines. Perform repair on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and structural systems. Restore equipment to working order.
• Maintain positive and effective interaction with customers, colleagues and equipment manufacturers
• Adhere to company and industry safety practices
• Develop and maintain a strong customer service relationship with all customer contacts
• Travel to and from customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles/equipment in the field.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
